Sexual freedom does not consist of being able to have sex whenever and wherever. On the contrary, it is in this perspective where people become controlled by their desires and lose the real freedom to truly choose. (Just look at the many people in our society who feel that they “have” to have sex and that chastity is impossible. Does that sound like freedom?)
True sexual freedom consists in having control over our desires. This does not mean that our desires our repressed, but they are directed towards a true respect and reverance for the human body and for the sexual union between man and woman. If you discover this truth, you’ll also discover the irony that the problem with society is that they do not value sex at all. People just don’t understand how beautiful it’s supposed to be.
